I had so many good times with Anne. She was such a ray of light and always had a smile and a laugh. Anne, Me and Gillian always did things together. I will miss her so much. But I will be with her again soon enough.

I have added two pictures to the gallery. The first was taken in 2021, the year before my mum Nova passed away. Although they spoke on the phone daily, they hadn't seen each other for over 10 years and I'll always remember how delighted they were to spend some time together again. Anne was Nova's oldest and closest friend - they'd known one another for over 60 years, and in fact Anne was mum's bridesmaid in 1956. The second picture I have added shows them on mum's wedding day. Anne's sharp wit and humour always made my mum laugh and Mum always referred to her dear friend as "Friend Anne". Although they are sadly no longer with us, I'd like to think they are once again together catching up on old times.

Anne, I have known you for over 50 years and we had many good enjoyable times together with you and John. You said to me once, many years ago, that you know who your true friends are once your Husband dies. How very true that was Anne. You will be greatly missed. Rest in peace. Gone, but not forgotten.
